Lazy days

Today we went to the growers market. My mom bought some squash that I later grilled. I don't mean this to sound like I am a cook because I am NOT. I hate cooking. Grilling is so different. As long as your temp isn't flaming all will come out okay :D

It was hot today.

Went to see that Dillinger film...what's the name? ....Public Enemies. It was good and sad. I think I have a real Dillinger newspaper article in that bunch I got at that fleamarket....hmm, I will have to check when I get back home.

Good Morning

I think I'm going to see a movie today, but I'm not sure what. I don't follow the Harry Potter stuff so there is no point in going to that. Maybe that Dillinger movie. I really wanna see Orphan but it isn't out yet. We'll see.

Summertime

This is a shot throught the garage window at my parents'. I am finding all kinds of things. Including my old lava lamp. Don't laugh or do. I love lava lamps. I am taking it back so I can stare at the slow moving red goop. It's really calming :D
...wait a sec, I am always referring to 60's stuff and I wasn't actually alive in the 60's in case all ya'll are thinking I am older than I actually am :D
My dad's music was a big influence on me, that's all.

I found my head

I got her (yes I always refer to my doll parts as real people) for a quarter. I left her with my sister who then left her in the garage so I am taking her back to Potland with me. She needs a patch.

Junker Heaven

My mom's place is junker heaven! This stuff isn't in use in case you are noticing all the dust, it's just in storage :) That little vintage elephant is so cute! And I grew up with that Rolling Stones album :D I am on the hunt now for the Doors and Janis' too :D
I have to tell you that all credit for me being a junker originates with my mom's grandmother who was the original junker :D Who I am actually named after! One day I'll go into detail about her place but man, she had so much stuff!! I think it may have been because she went through the depression era, I dunno, but she didn't throw anything away and looking through her dresser drawers was insanely fun! But anyway, the junker gene never died and so here I am....maybe my kids will be minimalists......who knows...hahaha.
